would it be illegal if i sold dcast backup discs?

actually its technically legal since the game is no longer being produced. check the dmca, im pretty sure thats the rule.
every one of my trade offers comes with respect. just take that into consideration with my most likely appealing offer.

The commercial distribution of duplicates does not fall under the exceptions to the prohibiton of distribution/us of copyright protected works (as specified by section 1201) which include {governmental activities, noninfringing uses, non-profit library/archive protection, reverse engineering, encryption research, protection of minors, personal privacy and security testing}.
Furthermore article 12 (and most other sections thereto) prohibit the public and private distribution of works without the necessarty authourity to do so.
