putting plexy glass together/whats good to make a case

I am considering plexy glass for the case for this thing im makeing (will not go into greater detail at this time)

so I ask what is the best methade for basicley makeing a plexy glass box

perhaps someone knows of a better material dose not need to be transparint

its need to be strong enoth and smooth

what you could do is take 4 plates of the stuff and bracket 3 to together and use the last one to cut the design out of for you top secret project

would that be a good methade of course I would be screwing it together or maybe nail with pilot holes so not to crack the plexy glass
