Why use a regulator? PS2 and PSone screen can run on 8V.

Doesn't the PS2 require 8.5v to run? I see you have a 12v battery hooked straight up to the PS2 in your picture. if it truly doesn't need 8.5v, what voltages can it be run off?

I though it would only run with around 8v ..so why does your wiring diagram have a 12v battery going straight to the PS2 motherboard? might wanna fix that lol

It's quite misleading lol, I saw it and was like woah! has someone discovered that it will work on different voltages ..would be really handy if it didn't need 8.5v

If we want to get technical(not really), the ps2 slim v18, the one with the built in PSU will apparently run on voltages as low as 7.5v.
