How much does the average n64 portable weigh?
I need to know since my concept might not work and would like to know how much I can expect it to weigh.

Well no one knows what the "average" portable weighs... so you should really just be calling for EVERYONE to weigh their portables and report back.
I would suspect not many people have access to a scale that weighs things in that weight range

That can add up to 3 pounds.
Anyways, this was my point, if you want an exact number down to the gram... well.. you probably wont get one. Otherwise, the answer is "about 2 pounds"

i'm no professional, and it's different in every case, but i would say...... approximately two pounds.
