Will this battery by able to work????

Ok so i have this Battery and want to know if it will work with a portable. Came from a portable DVD player. Was a detachable battery pack.

Specs: 7.4 v, 1700 mph, Lithium-polymer,takes 9-12 v in.

The reason why i want to use this battery is because you can charge it right on the side.(battery with built in charger, comon doesn't get any convenient than that)

O way and if anyone could tell me how i would go about attaching the battery, i am taking like do i need to strip it down, solder on to plates or anything like that. Thanks

On a serious note, you would want a battery with at least 4000mAh for an N64p.

The N64 alone uses more power to run for an hour than your battery can provide. By the time you add in the rest of what a portable needs, you'll get about twenty minutes of time, tops. Try to find something along the lines of 5500mAh to get about two hours of playtime. If you've really got your heart set on using a battery with all the circuitry in it like that, look on e-Bay or Amazon.

Most likely I'll just get another battery with a lot more mAh.
