xbox 360 slim laptop

Post by zefeldo2 »

how long do you think it will take before he gets his hands on one of those. if he even knows that they exist. Even though they never came out he should look into the design. im thinking it should be a shiny one this time instead of all the cheap plastic he uses for all his laptops. idk thats just my thought but he could do better on this one than all these other projects, not trying to sound like a jack ass but he doesnt bother to make the portables better (smaller/slimmer) like the n64, supernintendo, all the good systems that people like. so anyway what do would u want him to put on the new laptop if he makes it, and if he would ever see this post.

IF your talking about Ben Heck, he will most likely be working on one right now. Modding and finding new things as he usually does :D

However, the Haunted Games Team was going to purchase one and also take it apart so check out my site (In my signature below).

Thanks

Ben's flying back from E3 right now, but after he gets some sleep and whatnot, he's going to start (from what he said on Twitter, anyway).

Any bets on design? I'm hoping he uses a two-tone of silver and shiny black.

OOoo that would be cool!!
reckon he will change the shape from his older ones?
sadly the heatsink is bigger than the old one and that means either less room or
a different kick-ass cooling method

$299
Oh, and good luck slimming one of those down. Its not like you can just cut it like an N64.

who needs to slim the board itself!
i mainly work on the hight (the width if its still stock)
the main thing you would have to think about with the 360s
is...the cooling.
i would lean towards water-cooling like be did in his 360p V1

It certainly is an efficient way; water has a high specific heat (it takes a lot of energy to change its temperature) and specialized fluids can be even better (and nonconductive!). But is it the best? That's up to opinion.
It's also pretty expensive.

It's quieter than cooling by air. It's a good deal heavier too, though.

unless you plan on shoving a zalman heatsink into the laptop water cooling would be the best option.
