The only thing wrong with it, is that the upper R button doesn't work, so I had to switch one of the 2 Z-buttons to an R.

So its L and Z on the left side, and only R on the right side.

I'm looking for $200 shipped.

Unfortunately I think most people on these forums would prefer to make them than buy a complete one. That would take away all the fun of building it

I'd recommend making a youtube vid, and list this N64 portable on eBay, and put a link to the auction from the youtube vid.

you'll get way more than $300 for it if you do it that way, I'd say at least $500. This really is one of the nicest looking potables I've seen. Oh and don't say that the right button doesn't work, say you put it there in case you needed it. Or you could just fix it.

Yeah, thanks but I like to be honest with myself. The market for portables are really declining due to a wider variety of people being able to either make one themselves, or just buy a cheaper handheld system brand new. I'm just trying to get rid of this thing because I need the cash, I really don't have to time to wait for nobody to pay $500.

And I'm not going to lie and say the button doesn't work. It doesn't and I can't fix it.

Well The way I installed the shoulder buttons, You can't take the actual buttons themselves out. Plus it was bondo'd over inside the case. Ah well, sacrificing one Z button is no big deal.

yea, agreed, I think having a 'z' button on the right feels weird anyway. with a real controller your right hand is never anywhere near the 'z' button. it makes more sense to have 'L' and 'Z' on the left. and two 'R's on the right opposing them.
