Issue with my snes

Post by thewise1 »

Most of my games won't boot, and I'm not saying the save game won't boot, it just won't start, it gives me a black screen. Some games work though, I wonder if the battery could effect booting too.

Try cleaning the cartridges with a little bit of rubbing alcohol and a Q-tip. If some games don't work but not others this could be the case.

I've done that with all of my games though. They just don't boot, I was at mgc as well and they wouldn't boot on an fc-16go either.

try bending the pins in your cart slot to make better contact with the pins on the games.

If some games will work and others won't then it sounds like a cartridge slot problem - not all games use all pins. So... basically what he ^ said :P

Edit: Wait a minute - I just reread your posts and you said you tried them on another system. Hmm...
