quick question, what kind of a wall adapter did you use?

It came from RadioShack - you can select multiple voltages on it and provides 1A current. You can also swap the tips on it. It's great for testing systems because you always have the right voltage and tip.

It says "Cat. No. 273-1680" so there's your model number. I don't think they carry this particular adapter anymore, though.

Hey, just wondering what exactly is holding those buttons in place? Are those bolts simply glued to the case or am I missing something?

EDIT: Just wondering cause I might borrow that idea for my current projekt...if that's all right with you, that is...

Nuts are superglued and then lightly high temp hot glued in place. Screw goes through hole in perf board, another nut is lightly tightened up to perf board, and screw is screwed into nut already glued in place on the case. Tweezers or pliers are then used to tighten 2nd nut to keep perf board at proper height.
