The PSJ (Playstation Josh)

Post by Darkdream666 »

So i wanna make my friend a PS1P for his b-day, December 15 lol, so i have some time.
I have a ROUGH SKETCH.(first pic was just for fun lol)
i plan on (hopefully) using one of these for a case(the large one):
CASE

What i need is(if you have suggestions, let me know):
- A program that i can use to make a scale drawing

Here is a rough pic, i might even do a horizontal setting instead, to be a little more comfortable/sleek.

Any ideas would GREATLY help!!!

You can use

- Autosketch (Very and Highly Reccommened)
- Sketchup (Highly Reccommened)
- 3D Studio Max (Though it may be hard as it is 3D and not used for measurments)

Thanks

Thanks for the quick reply :D
any thoughts on which would be better?

The horizontal would allow for a bigger screen i think lol

i had an idea of using the original psx. if you remove the huge ac to dc converter you have plenty of space to work with. would one have enough space inside to add some lipos and a controller board? then frankencase the screen outside?

first off:
The case you want is too small.
Secondly yes, you can use an original PSX case but thats huge.
Smallest it can go without real big soldering is inside an Ag-85 from polycase, which is what I'm using for my Psonep
