I have scph-9000 psx and a few days ago I found serious problem that it won't spin up and it doesn't have any leaser movement, even no pad movement(freeze) whenever I close lid.
I used digital multimeter onto mainboard fuse and found that different from other fuse, only PS601 fuse has high value resistance. I have known high resistance usually mean insulation or burnout of IC so I doubted PC601 fuse have caused disorder.
I'm convinced my problem caused by false PS601 fuse after read a document from below url
http://tokomjstation.com/index.php?acti ... laystation
it seems I need to replace PS601 fuse with new one but I can't found PS601 fuse in my country(korea).
Is there any replacement instead of PS601?
and if it is OK to use a certain glass fuse for replacement, then what amp fuse should I use?
I'm sorry for my wierd ENGLISH which may cause some misunderstand and Thanks in advance.
how can I replace PS601 fuse?

I would just put put solder over where the fuse was. It will work fine.

Your recommendation is at risk for burnout all IC which is connected to that PS601 fuse.themadhacker wrote:I would just put put solder over where the fuse was. It will work fine.
I guess that fuse blew out when I had touched power supply condenser by mistake and just then, I got very strong eletronic shock.
I can't sure that I won't touch again power supply condensor or any eletronic substance which may emit electricity whenever I touch and It will have high possibilty of burnning out some critical electronic components if I solder just to connect end of the point and touch again as I did.
