Cart Relocation Using SCSI?

ok i am going to buy this header to relocate the cart slot:

very cheap at $0.55

but now i cant find the stupid 50 Pin SCSI cable

never mind i think i found the perfect cable on ebay for like $10.00

just a quick question though, is 11in. too long or is it a good length to move the cart slot?

cause that is the smallest length of cable that i can find.
