Hello!
I am Gerard Kirkham, a student of the Mid-Cheshire college, UK. We have been looking into the '8 Bit' genre and have been asked to create a moch band, of which we have called '8 Bit Zega'. The brief that we were given required us to create an album cover, radio advert as well as an e-card. We have also been asked to gather various feedback from people and I am wondering if you are able to help me out here and supply me with some feedback on the album cover, radio advert and e-card of which I have given links to below.
Any feedback will be greatly appreciated and will help me with my studies!
Radio Advert:

Album Cover:

E-Card:

Thank you in advance!

Re: 8 Bit Zega - College
AS a gamer and musician I feel I should qualified to have some input here.
The album cover looks okay. My suggestion is probably nix the mirroring and put like an 8 bit inspired graphic fantasy land. Or take an image an dumb down the resolution and drop the color range to 52 colors.
The Radio ad sounds fine. I'm not sure how they sound like in England. I only know the bad ones here in Minnesota.
You should made the e card layout resemble an NES controller or a Gameboy face complete with the "Dot Matrix Game with Stereo Sound" on the top (since thats what it look like you're playing).
Hope you guys pass with flying colours.

Cheers for your responses. They have been really useful in my work!
Re: 8 Bit Zega - College
The ad sounds good, and I like the Tetris-esque design for the ecard. But your album cover really isn't very 8-bit-looking. I realize you're all playing Gameboys, but 2 of them have no game in them, and the other 2 are 16-bit GBAs.
