It took one year too gain 500 members, but only took little under 3 weeks to get another 100, thought I'd point this out. I considering bringing up the original thread, but then those 100 new members would have to read through 3 pages just to see this post.

no, hackaday.com did the job when some news of fitting lot of old school games on a PSP got out and a link was provded to there forums

I came here because of the article in popular science, and about 20 other people joined around the same time. Half of them have only posted like once.

Yeah, that's how i learned of this site. And yeah, the numbers are kind of decieving, when you consider 300 members have posted 3 times or less.
