Ok, so what's going on is that I just got a wireless Xbox 360 voicechat headset, and I want to use it with my wireless Sennheiser headphones. I want to add a 3.5mm closed audio jack (female) to the headset, so that it can sort of "dock" to a male headphone jack I will put on the headphones, so that when I connect it, it will reroute the audio from earpiece to the headphones. I already have a 2 conductor panel mount switched jack, but none of the pins are labeled and I have never installed this type before. I made a diagram that shows the setup, could someone possibly identify the pins and where each wire needs to go?
Here is the diagram I made and labeled, hopefully it will make it easier to explain:
By the way, I know how to solder, resistors (ect...) aren't needed, and I have access to (but no experience with) a digital multimeter.
