Man this brings back memories! Funny that Pac man is almost as old as I am....

OMG! If you click insert coin twice you get 2 player pac-man! Player 2 is ms pacman and you use "WASD" for controls and gets their own sfx. Controlling both is hard!

I tried. :( No luck. If it was a Flash game, you could just download the Flash object...

Doesn't the original arcade version crash once you (somehow) get to stage #256? :?

Yeah. I once "beat" several atari games that way. I got to the 255th level and it would "stick", then eventually restart at level 1. Good times.

It's also still officially hosted by Google at http://www.google.com/pacman. It was so awesome, they just couldn't get rid of it.

Last night in my class I heard that Mozilla.com went down as a result of the glitchy music from the google pacman. Namely you'd leave the page but still hear the music and so, so many people went to Mozilla's site to compain or report it that it caused a DDoS to their server. Rather funny I think.
