What browser do you use!

Post by ghosstt »

Im running ubuntu right now, using firefox. On 9.04 I used swiftfox, which gave me some good results, but I'm looking for something better if possible. I was thinking google chrome, but I remember all that controversy when the beta was out, about them watching what you write or something. Think its all good to use? :P

So what browser do you use?

Firefox
Chrome
IE
Older IE
Netscape 4 (bic  )
Swiftfox

Eeew, Ubuntu. :P At least use a real distro like Slackware, or better yet screw Linux and its GNU/Baggage and run PC-BSD.

Desktop, laptops:
Windows 7, XP, 2000
Opera 10.50
IE 8 (except the Win2k laptop, which is running IE 6)
Google Chrome Portable, Netscape Navigator 4, and Firefox Portable for web development testing

Powerbook 1400:
Mac OS 9.0.4
Classilla
IE for Mac 5.5
iCab
Netscape Communicator 4

Mac SE & SE/30:
System 7.0.1
MacWeb
MacLynx

Latest version of Firefox on my netbook and desktop, using XP and 7 respectively. I occasionally use Chrome if Firefox is acting up or something.

Chrome for Linux! :D It's quite ridiculously fast. Using it on my Ubuntu 10.04 desktop and my SliTaz 3.0 laptop. :)

HP Pavilion 6000 - Ubuntu/XP
FireFox 3.6
Chrome
IE8

Acer Aspire One - Ubuntu
Chrome
FireFox 3.6

HP Pavilion (Desktop) - Ubuntu
FireFox

I generally stay with Firefox, but have found that Chrome's smaller menu bars makes it better for the tiny screen on my Aspire One. That and I think it uses less ram, making it run a lot faster.

Firefox

I don't use mosaic much anymore, because it's 16-bit and won't work with my 64-bit OS.

I use Firefox [insert latest version] on Mac and Windows. Once in a rare while I'll use Safari if Firefox feels like being dumb.

Fight MS Paint abominations! If you don't have a camera, go here, and pick something 3 megapixels or higher.
