Analog Stick for Nintendo DS

Hey, I want to know if it's possible to assemble a analog stick to Nintendo DS Lite?

Yes, but not like you may be thinking. You can add a stick, but it won't allow for finer degrees of control than the d-pad offers. For example, in a racing game, pushing the stick somewhat left would be the same as pushing it hard left.

Besides, how would you close the system?
