n64 problems
I have a n64 board that when i wire it up to the batteries the power light comes on but I get no video whatsoever. Anyone know what could cause this. I have not tried any other power options. I got the board from Jiden and he said it worked for him up until he started having some kinda battery trouble but I can not figure it out. How many milliamps does it need to run?
That's Hacking Awsome

Re: n64 problems
It needs about 1.2 amps on the 3.3v line and much less on the 5v line, less than 500ma, I think.

Re: n64 problems
Go through the N64 trouble shooting guide. That covers a lot of what could be wrong with an N64. Are the N64 and screen grounds connected? Is the screen (if not a TV) getting power also? If the LED comes on, the 3.3v line is getting power. Is the 12v line getting at least 7v?
