Lol limpport.
And i was able to pick up the EXACT controller in the book
so, once i get the main case wall bent and attached, all i gotta do is solder the controller parts, and finish attaching the screen to the board. Will post pictures once I'm done, hopefully will be finished by sunday..or maybe tomorrow..or if im determined enough, TONIGHT
.

You should edit the title of the thread and make it into a worklog!

That Aluminum wall was kicking my ass, had to go and get a new piece of it even ): but after 3 attempts, i have gotten it nearly perfect, and am happy with it, so hopefully will have it finished sometime tomorrow. (:

And tripple post.
Project Is Now At A Standstill.
:/ The screen died, and i am in need of a new one, anyone have one the can let go , preferably cheap?
And DOESN'T have the LED mod, because thats what killed it ._.
and don't ask how, because it was my fault and i don't feel like explaining.
I need THE FULL THING. Screen and board!
And it needs to be the circular 5 inch one, with the speakers on the side wing things.
PROJECT IS BACK
Turns out i just accidentally switched the possitive and negative on the LED mod, which i fixed, and now everything is working
, now i just have to put the wires from the controller (16 pins) and im done :]

My PSone controller also has 8 instead of 8. How did you connect it to the PSone board? Btw, your portable is looking great!ZachZombify wrote:So i have The "PSOne" Controller, but it has different pinouts, and only 8 unstead of 9 like the book. Can anyone help me?

Thanks for the help guys, I really appreciate it! The controller I have is the one from Ben's book,
the white controller that says "PSone" on the front, but my controller still only had 8 pins.
