Gunblade NY Wiimote gun mod/shell

Now that the Gunblade NY and LA Machine Guns are officially coming to the Wii, I want to build a shell or modify a Wiimote to provide heavy kickback like the arcade setup. I'm thinking of using my Nyko Wand and getting the Wand-compatible Perfect Shot to use its "passport" trigger and rumble assemblies, but relaying the rumble signal to a big solenoid. I'd like to find a Nerf gun or something to house the stuff, because I can't fabricate my own shell. I'm no electronics whiz, so any advice or help would be appreciated.

I was actually thinking of doing the exact same thing. I love the gunblade games and would like the feel of that big gun and massive kickback. I was thinking of replicating the arcade guns with komatex, and putting a wiimote in the barrel. I'd be interested in what happens here.

No recoil, but the Wii Crossfire Remote Integrated Pistol by Penguin United should make a better starting point than a Wiimote or Nyko Wand.

I forgot about that one. I tried it at E3 last year and really preferred its grip to the Perfect Shot and most toy guns. It fit my hand really well, and the buttons were a nicely positioned.
