PS1 Screen Problem

Can anybody tell me what the problem could be on my ps1 screen check out this video.

The lcd ribbon cable is inserted wrong. Take it out and re-insert it straight.

Or second guess is a power problem. To much or to little.

I've had that problem before, make sure that the ribbon cable is inserted all the way and that the metal locking strip is holding the ribbon cable in place.

I recharged the battery and checked to see if it is getting the right volts and it is. I also took out the ribbon cable and put it back in and nothing. Now the back light isn't even turning on. Anyone know whats up?
