I am brand new to the moding world so please don't kill me if these questions sound stupid! I am in middle of building a nes PC so far so good there are many tech help stuff online. What really caught my attention was the N64 Portable (N64p) especially the Darth64 because of its shape which is very unique. So i decided to go and try to create on myself. But i got a BIG problem i know NOTHING about soldering anything. I do have a kit that I bought that I am getting good at using but I don't understand anything about the chips. What is really bugging me out is that I am tiring to undersatnd how the psone screen would connect to the N64 board but I cant seem to figure it out. Any ideas of were I can start? should I be starting on a SNES first? if so I still need to understand how to hook up the screen to it??!?!?!?! PLEASE HELP ME
Basically, the psone screen and n64 are connected the same way the n64 connects to a tv, through a video signal called composite, or what most people know as the yellow rca jack. Instead of using that though, you get the signal straight from the n64 motherboard and feed it directly to the psone. Also, it would definitely be a better idea to start with a snes than a n64, it is much easier to use and easier to figure out, as it doesn't need heat sinks or damned jumper/expansion pak's.

were on the psone screen do i connect to the snes board?? how would i move the cartridge holder to make it portable?? what battery power should i use?? and were would i connect it to?? how do i connect the controller to the board directly?? sorry for the question but i really am tiring to understand it as clear cut as possible!!!
