Switching regulator?

Well Im lazy so just go to ti.com and start looking through their "power management" section in the "plug in power modules" section. They have fixed regs, adjustable regs, step up, step down, you name it.

To be honest... you might get away with the same reg used for n64's? not positive on its spec. Its 12v input, adj output though.

I'm looking at all the TI ones myself but I don't know which one will work for me, especially one that doesn't require an extra 50 components to work.

Ossim, thanks, a bit chunkier then a normal pth regulator but worth it to keep a psone screen from devouring twice of what it needs with a linear one.

If they need external parts then you weren't in the "plug in power module" section.
