An introduction Page

An introduction Page
I think that there should be a page or thread dedicated to new members who want to introuduce themselves to the community and tell the community a little bit about themselves reason for joining, how they found the forum and so forth.

It could be a good idea to have one stickied in F42 (Akin to the SHOW US YOURSELF!!! thread). I know we've had threads like that in the past.

I don't really see the point. I see it as a place that would be filled with posts from people who post a couple times and then leave. Introductions are probably best done in the first thread someone makes (like "Hi, I'm 16. I want to make a N64p because it is my favorite. I have some questions about..."). Then, if they end up following through, it is much easier to put the intro with the person. I never even look at introduction threads/forums, it's not until they've posted a few times that you start to remember them as the guy that does this or that.
