what is the negative(black) that goes with the pink?, cause doesnt the pink wire attach to the N64 voltage out
and then the+ and - that comes from the battery is the other two

Is "volt out" your ground connection? (that confused the heck out of me, just call it 'ground'). It looks like it. In that case your capacitor is backwards...jeffslot wrote:Well,

Please don't bump old topics. you take a multimeter and put the positive lead on the positive wire and the negative lead on the negative wire.
