if the Gamecube can infact run fromm 5v, would it be possible to run a gamecube off a psp battery and a rechargable AAA battery?

Nope, nowhere near enough power. Will power it for a few seconds, max.

No way that is really 26000mAh in capacity, it'd be way bigger than a PSP for LiIon or LiPoly to be that capacity, it's just the model number to throw people off. "Output voltage: 5V 700mAh" is in the listing, way too low a capacity to power a Gamecube for any length of time.

Gamecube needs more than 5v to run. Check the stickies.

ok i have an old laptop battery here and i have taken it out of its casing it is a 20v battery
it has a series of 9 Blue Sony enegrytec "US18650S" batteries
im not sure what voltages ,presumably come to 2.22 volts Each
if im going to make a portable gamecube What would i need
i.e. a stepdown? or..

Any information at all would be helpfull :)
