Cut the pcb in several places and rewired with solid 30ga. Used eletrical tape to keep the LCD frame from shorting, etc.
Wires must be short as possible.

This was for a customer that wanted to keep the original CCFL at all costs. He hates the LED mod and since the portable is going to be run off wall power (not my decision) I wanted to keep it.
Cut the pcb in several places and rewired with solid 30ga. Used eletrical tape to keep the LCD frame from shorting, etc.

AWESOME! now i can actually use a psone screen and not feel bad about losing the backlight!
