Nintendo project underway

So I went out and got my Nintendo today, Hooray! So I get it home, and with the help of my grandpa, some needle-nosed pliers, and a good old fashion dremmel, we pried it opened. I've now got the following...

Project Box - $7
Nintendo 64 (All wires, plus controller) - $25
Ben's Book (not exactly helpful for the N64, but helpful for the screen) - $30

Here's a picture of how far I got it....

In this picture, I've got a Heatsink, resting on one of the CPU's, however, I still need to find 2 more (working on it) and I'm also clueless as to what sort of adhesive I should use to connect the heatsink to the CPU.

I currently don't have my screen yet, so no soldering has occured thus far, nor do I have my battery pack... So I honestly can't progress too much further until I get those important pieces (the screen being more important at this point). So I'm wondering, I've got some IDE cables laying around, and I've seen a bunch of you guys relocate your Cartridge Slot... I would also like to do this, however I'd like to know how you guys did it first. Is it just a matter of plucking it off, and soldering the respective ends to the cart slot and the mobo?

OH YEAH, and I also want to relocate the controller ports (obviously), so would this process be much like the cart slot? Just desoldering and resoldering? I am also curious to know what electronic parts I need, and if there's a list anywhere, like Ben has in his book (only for the NES [Table 7-1] and SNES [Table 10-1]). If anyone can answer any of these questions, please post. Any input is appreciated, as long as it is on topic.

Arent N64s only $15? I havnt started mine yet but if theyre $25 I probably wont make one

I've seen em like 15 dollars shipped off of ebay at times, but 25 isnt bad.

Bicostp: Nobody round these parts sells PSOne screens. D:

Mr. Cool: It's a battery powered car, from when I was a child. And unfortunately, the cheapest place you can get a N64 here in Albany, is Game Crazy, and they sell for $25.

For the controller ports, you can just cut that end of the board off, then solder wires from the mobo to the controller ports piece of board.
