best batterys

Post by daguuy »

what would be the best batteries for an n64p? i was thinking of rechargable AAs parrallel for long battery life but that would take up a lot of space and be very heavy. what would be the best way to get 7.5 volts and around 5000mah?

RC car batteries are 7.2v, 3000mah, ni-mh, you can get four for 55 dollars + shipping off of eBay.

You can also usually find 4000 to 5000 mAH NiMH C-cells on ebay for pretty cheap. They aren't in a pack, but they're generally sold in groups of 6 or 8. I've never bought them though, so I have no idea how good they really are.

Rechargeable AA's are the best because they're cheap, not too heavy, not that big, and easy to recharge. You can just put a battery holder thingy in it instead of soldering wires to the batteries.

I think he's referring to the battery life.

If battery life is what you're after, why not a lantern battery?

Two words: car bettery. ha ha ha.
