That's pretty small. Going to think out the board by only having two USB ports in the front, instead of three. Maybe even remove the A/V port. That would make for a slimmed out 360p. If we're also luck they might have also found a way to cut down on the power requirements too, but that might be asking too much from Microsoft.

Did they make the old one, or did they outsource the heat dissipation department? (Or did they just grab any old PC heatsink that could keep up with the wattage? It would be nice if the new board used an LGA775 heatsink package; there's so much to choose from in the aftermarket.)

Unless my eyes deceive me, this could possibly mean handheld 360s, or at the very least Xbox 360 Netbooks.

WOAH. i just did a little measuring. assuming the AV out is the same size, that board is roughly
7-3/4"x 8". by those measurements, the fan is 100mm. if the power consumption has been cut as much as the size, 360 portables are a very real possibility.
now, hopefully, it doesnt RRoD

Psh. Like Microsoft is going to give up their $1 per gigabyte hard drive scheme.

Maybe a dvd drive configured for double SATA ports for double the bandwidth? But then the hard drive would be a bottleneck, right? Maybe 7200rpm drives or SSD'S?
