The Gamecube Huge Screen Portable
Though none of my other projects are completed (my psonep is so close, and i havent started my GBA SC (but its pretty easy)), Im now looking towards my third project.
I found on ebay an LCD tv which is 10" for $220. Though this is kind of pricy, Im getting a summer job soon, so i should be able to aford it easily. Im not quite sure what system ill use yet, but it'll probably be Gamecube (if not then PS2). This will be, to my knowledge, The Biggest Screened Portable EVER. Some people are using 2.5" tvs for their portables, not me! mines 4 times that! I know I shouldnt be bragging yet as I havent even started this yet, but Im confident Ill finish by the end of the summer. The only limeting factors are money and weight. I know Ill need a buttload of batteries. Anyone think this will work?

Well, as long as you put in enough batteries to get significant battery life, then there's no chance at failing. Hope it comes out well, and good luck on everything else.

Good luck! Or luc...whatever...

Just be careful; don't destroy the GC and more importantly...yourself...

Unfortunatly I expect to kill the GC, as I have with my first two PSones and many other people have with their projects. I think Ill buy 2 GCs that way Im prepared. I certainly hope I dont destroy the screen cause its pretty expensive.

well, it'll be hard, but it could be done :).....and you're right, you're gonna need a lot of batteries (or some real expensive ones ;)) to be able to get a decent battery life.....
*btw, shouldn't this be in the PS2/XBOX/GC forum?.....I mean, if people all post everything here, then what's the purpose of organizing the forums according to system?....it's funny, though; ben always posts everything here, too : P.....
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

it's all right.....I guess it's just 'cause lately there've been a lot of misplaced threads in F42, so we don't really notice when we put a topic here that's supposed to be in another forum....

Yeah we should all take some time to think where we should put our threads. Though more people will see your thread here than if you post it in the correct forum theres getting to be to many threads, so most of the questions go unanswered
