Quake is open source yes. But HL ran on a heavily modified version of the quake engine that valve created called GoldSrc. So even though Quake which GoldSrc is based on is open source. GoldSrc it's self is not.samjc3 wrote:i want that for real as well. heck, ARM is going through the roof with power/performance. pretty soon it will be as powerful as the big x86 chips, but in a mobile package.nightwheel wrote:I actually kinda want that for real Plamer.palmertech wrote:I want them to port the Source engine to ARM.

Well, you could say Apple laptops don't have any buttons, in a manner of speaking. It's just one giant touchpad, and depending on where you click makes it a 'left' click or a 'right' click. I find it much more convenient than two separate buttons, personally. The gestures are awesome too.Sparkfist wrote:As for Mac mice, Apple brand is still one button, that's evident by the one button on laptops. But yes you have a have a sweet 6-button mouse, plug that baby in! I know from experience of seeing a buy in one of my programming classes who had to plug a USB mouse into his Powerbook when he rebooted in Vista.
