Why are you so paranoid about people knowing who you are? Did you do something you weren't supposed to? :?
vskid wrote:Speaking of programing, I was trying to get qbasic off of my win95 cd and opened the wrong file so now I turn the computer on and it wants to start the setup for win95. I would just install the windows and then reinstall the 98 I had on it since it has two 2gb hard drives and my important stuff is on a different drive, but the cd is for a different kind of computer. The only good thing is that it is on my old computer that doesn't really matter, but I need it to play my old games because I'm not allowed to install them on our newer pc. Does anyone know how to get past this? I've tried to reinstall win98 but the stupid thing still wants to install 95. :(
Open up Autoexec.bat in Notepad or Edit, and look for a line that contains the words Win95 or setup. Removing or REMing that line should fix it.
