Battery, voltage, and wire questons

Hey guys. Pondering how one would go about making a portable And I still have a few questions. I ordered the ti pth8080waz and I'm wondering ifthats the right model. Also what kind of resistors or capacitors would I need to put on it?

And Or the n64 does the type of solder or wire matter? If so where could I get some that works well?

What kind of battery? I would like to use a recharble one but I don't know what would work best.

Current list of needed parts:

n64(s) w/controller
psone screen
2k-2.2k ohm resistors
100 uF capacitor
wires ( that will work how I want them to)
and a decent battery that can be recharged

is there anything I should add before I start frying 64s?

edit: what about the charger? Just curious how to wire it up and keep it internal so all I have to do is plug it in thru a hole on the side. If possible haha.

You will not want the charger internal, adds to much weight and heat and takes up a ton of room. Just hook up a female power jack in the portable and wire the charger with a male jack and you're set.

So a smart charger would do the job?

I've seen the pic of one online with the alligator clamps and I'm wondering if I would keep them or solderthe female ditectly to the battery or wires to the battery.

And also possibly a diagram or place where I can find one? Thank you so much, it helps to have a plan before I get started this weekend.

edit: I found a diagram. Correct me If I'm wrong but the female charge port connects to the pcb?
