NES cart sells for 40k!

Post by JimmyDean »

So, some lucky dude found an UNOPENED stadium events in his basement. I'm quoting gamespy here:

In an interview with Yahoo Games, Dave (only name provided) explained how he discovered his own copy of the rare 1987 track and field game in a box in his basement. Dave could never find the floor mat controller required for Stadium Events, so he never opened it -- the game was still in its original shrink wrap. The game was already considered the rarest of Nintendo's licensed games. An unopened copy was the holy grail for collectors.

Megaman 2 is 99x more awesome though.

I think we should all start buying two of each game that is released; play one and keep the other sealed. You never know which one will be worth thousands later on!
Coming Soon: Kibble's L'Ectroshop (parts and stuff FS)
