7" portable dvd lcd no input
I recently bought a use portable dvd player that wasnt reading disks for $10 so i could use the screen for a n64p. soon as i bought it i noticed there was no video input only a output so could i make a composite attachment to the data cable that connects the screen to the n64?

here are the cable that connect to the dvd player

I am sure. Although I am new, I am somewhat good with electronics. You cant just 'add' outputs to anything. There needs to be a whole other circut, or even an entire board, depending on the age.dragondreamer wrote:here are the cable that connect to the dvd player

Re: 7" portable dvd lcd no input
It "might" be possible to tap into the chip and find Rgb or composite , and you "might" be able to find the pinout for the lcd and it "might" be accepting rgb or composite instead of lvds.
But if you don't know how to find out this information it will be really difficult for you to do.
Much simpler to but a broken dvd player with a good screen that has inputs for $20, or buy a Psone screen for $40.
