Need Help with supergun

Post by JimmyDean »

Hey! I'm the new teenager on the block here, and I need some help with building a supergun. So, I got the harness and the psu. Oh, and will 15 amps of +5v fry whatever board I put into it? This sucka is goin in a homebuilt 4 slot neogeo arcade cab, and I don't wanna throw 200$ down the drain is all.

Okay, in all honesty, I REALLY need help. Like REALLLLLLLY. Any Help is good. Oh, and what's a good color for a neogeo cab? I want to be original.

Amps will not fry things by having too many, it's only voltage that you have to worry about having too much of.

As far as cab color, I'd be un-unique and go with classic Neo Geo Red or plain old black. The light green of the text found on the UK Neo Geos might make a good cab color if you want something more unique.

thanks, tom! My psu has random colors on the atx connector. not what normal psu's have. The wires are in a completely random order. I checked the pinout AND the proper colors. Am I still okay?

Yea... Well, I just found out that my psu is a non-standard dell custom power supply with a different pinout. IT SUCKS. Does anyone here have a crappy atx lying around? It only has to be 200 watts
