SuperPad 64 Plus
I popped open my SuperPad 64 Plus thinking I'd see some solder pads but lo and behold, they weren't there. :'( Although the place where the button presses onto the board was metal. Shall i solder here?

Depends on what you're trying to do. I initially read as if you were replacing the joystick, in which case, no. But if you're relocating buttons, yes, you can solder to their previous contact points.

Well I'm trying to do the C stick replacement for the c buttons. Do I solder on one side of the squigglies or something?

Yeah, you'll have to look at it to see which side isn't ground. Look for sides that 'connect' to each other - these will be the ground traces. You want to solder to the other ones.
Otherwise, post a decent pic and we can point them out.

Top right are the C buttons. I also need help with changing out the joystick for a gamecube one. If anyone knows how to wire that for a SuperPad Plus or MakoPad I could really use your help.

Here's how the Joystick that was in there was wired. (I think the black and brown wires that go into the board might have been the other way around but im not sure.)

Re: SuperPad 64 Plus
The C button contacts for all 4 are the bottom/left side of the two in your pic.

So just solder inside the red lines and then expose some copper and ground the resistors there?

Re: SuperPad 64 Plus
Yes, although you can just connect the grounds to the opposite exposed pads.

Re: SuperPad 64 Plus
I was having some problems where butons were always registered. I checked my resistors and I was using 5.6k instead of 6.9k
but I have everything packed up for a while because I want to take a break from all this
....I'll test it later. I'm also having problems with my entire controller. I think I fried it so I'll just order a regular SuperPad and hopefully that will also solve my other joystick problems
