controller soldering issues..

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

controller soldering issues..

when i try to solder the two wires to the parts of the controller that i have to solder to they do not stay. they fall right off. any suggestions?

Do you mean the trace on the board where wires were once soldered? Or the blob of solder that you add doesn't want to stick? If your problem is the latter, you need to heat up the area that you want to solder to longer, and/or use flux. If you are having the first problem, you will most likely need to find an alternative solder point, just follow the trace.

i had that same problem with mine. use flux. it works perfectly.

thanks the heating of the point works but the flux worked a little better.
