has anyone heard or seen anything on a N64 rom cartridge, similar perhaps to an R4 DS, with the little flash stick you put in the top to play roms on??
thanks

Re: Rom Cartridge??
there are two things similar to this that I know of. One connects to a CD drive, the other one connects to I think an LS120 or zip drive. I'm not sure what they're called, though.

Re: Rom Cartridge??
i have a few other questions:
1) i was wondering if there are any 3rd party n64 controllers that use the gamecube joystick, and not necessarily the hori mini-pad
2) i was hoping someone could give me a few pointers on desoldering/removing the ram expansion slot
thanks

2. Put more solder on the pins and then run the soldering iron across the pins melting the solder while bending the expansion pack slot away from the solder you are melting. It will come off easily. Suck up the excess solder with de-soldering braid or a de-soldering iron/pump when done.

Re: Rom Cartridge??
ok, from what i understand you can mod an N64 controller to use a ps2 analog pot box or whatever, as long as its third party, not official, so i think i'll just do that. btw i got the expansion slot off. it was pretty easy, thanks
