It's ok if you have plenty of ventilation. Most heatsinks are better because they have fins. The original ones are just chunks of metal. If you can find copper ones it will be way better. If you ventilation then it's fine.

well im gonna have no ventilation so i guess i'll be getting some new heatsinks. any suggestions on a place to get them or making new ones?

You will at least need vent holes somewhere in the case for the heat to leave it.

I kept looking for a guide on how to replace a dpad with a control stick because i want to replace the c buttons with the c stick. Is it easier just to trial and error or is it harder than i think?

i know the pinout is

VCC

so what combinations do i use for each direction?
