I got a iPod Touch yesterday!!

My parents got their income taxes Monday. And yesterday, they gave me and my sister 8gb iPod Touch'es!!

I'm trying to get used to it today. Syncing music has been confusing. But it's mostly my fault. I didn't get the Album Art first. Deleting music is simple enough though.

Suggest me good apps!

Though I've never done it myself, I'm gonna have to say go ahead and jailbreak it. Youll get so much more use out of it, and even doing it just for skinning is kickass.

Jailbreaking is good stuff. I got my frypod touch jailbroken, and it's nice....nice to be able to customize everything, rather than just a small portion of it.

You probably can't jailbreak it yet. They haven't hacked 3.1.2 or 3.1.3 for the touch yet.

You can get a tethered jailbreak on 3.1.2

No, it might work fine. 2G's made after week 39 are tethered too. See if the serial number starts by MD or MC.

MC = Tethered
MD = Good, just use blackra1n

My friend has a 3rd gen touch. He uses blackre1n, just can't ever turn it off/ drain the battery.
