Why can't you test the psONE screen?

It looks like the retro duo would do me fine as well
Just one thing, though. Will the batteries work with the system if the nes part is attached?

Its works fine. And yes the batteries will work with the nes part attached just make sure you have the correct voltage. both batteries are 7.2v total.
