nope look http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Replacement-Batt ... 2171wt_939" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; that a normal psp slim batteryargelfraster wrote:First off, a normal psp battery is around 3.6v 1200 mah.ToastBucket wrote:I have an unmodded screen. I don't have PSP batteries this time. I have a 12-cell 3000 maH battery circuit...I could replace my current with PSP batteries though (2 would make 7.2v with 7200maH)
This means you would need 4 batteries to get 7.2v 2400mah.

I am going to say this again slowly.
The .....Chinese.....Lie.....
There is no possible way that battery is 3600mAh. If anyone tests it I would guess it will be around 1500mAh-1800mAh MAX !!

http://img158.yfrog.com/i/n64controllercircutboar.jpg/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
follow the traces to see what they are for. You want to create a loop going like this
http://img159.yfrog.com/i/tactileswitch.png/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Excuse the bad lines and whatnot....so you're going to have two wires soldered to each yellowish pad on the controller board...the tactile switch, when pressed, completes a circuit and closes it when switch has no pressure on it...hope this helps
Wires must be soldered to the tactile switch's diagonal pins...doesn't matter which two pins as long as they are diagonal from each other like in the picture

Re: First N64p project...advice/help?
I've given up on the idea of PSP batteries. They just seem like a waste of time. Instead I'm going to get some of these http://www.batteryspace.com/highpowerpo ... arate.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
In the meantime I'll use my current setup for testing. For these ^ do I need to get a different charger or can I use the charger I already have? (Its for a 7.2v 1500maH circuit)

Gosh technology has come a long way. That thing is so tiny!!! How'd they get all that capacity in an 8cm x 8cm pack? The world may never know...

Re: First N64p project...advice/help?
This project is costing more than I originally planned....hope I can sell it. Judging by the pictures how much do you think I could get for this? $400? (I'm planning on making a smaller AG style one afterwards for me)

Re: First N64p project...advice/help?
I'm still having conflicts with my batteries. Here is my current layout right now. (just press the little zoom button in the corner because yfrog made it a little weird)
http://img131.yfrog.com/i/customizedwiring.png/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
If anyone can see what's wrong from this I would really like to get this working. Really hope I haven't fried both my screen and my N64 because neither are turning on although I'm getting voltage on the connectors for everything. (I used a voltage reading thing and I'm getting 7.2v on the direct line to the n64 and on the connector pad thing i soldered to on the screen but neither are turning on. I have ground going to both of them as well.)

YUS. It's alive!!! well kinda...the lights really dim because there isn't enough voltage since the batteries aren't charged enough but theyre charging now. Still can't get the screen to work but hopefully it'll work after i tinker with it for a whiole....and someone mentioned an led on a ps1 screen for power... mine doesn't have an led. should it or is this something added to it?
