Having trouble getting a 5" screen....

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Having trouble getting a 5" screen....

Post by Notyu Oviosly »

Ok, so I need a 5" screen for my portable. I would LOVE to use the psONE screen, but the problem is that the MOBO is too big as it is to fit where I want it to.

Is there a nice, but cheap, 5" Screen that has similar inputs (preferably) to the psone screen, with a small MOBO not much bigger than the screen itself?

Or is there some easy way to cut the MOBO of the psONE screen and rewire it? Like here

so its protrusions are out of the way?
I'm glad I'm Notyu........maybe.

your image doesn't work, but yes there is. If you led mod it, you can fit it almost completely behind the screen.

I'm not sure exactly what your picture is, but If its anything like what I think you mean, I don't think it will work. Can you explain further, and maybe even recommend another screen if there is one?
