Is this safe? Would it work?

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

Would I be able to use the battery charge jack as wall power where it is instead of the PSone charger?

Anyone at all?

Say the PSone plug was not there. Could I have the battery charger charge the batteries and run the N64 at the same time?

yes you may, good sir. as long as it's a 7.4v charger.

Awesome! The charger is 8.4v, so that should still be safe for the PSone screen.

I would recommend against using that.

Well 7.4v chargers do measure at 8.4 volts. Did you measure that or is that what the charger is rated on the brick for?

That will work fine for charging and if it's enough amperage it's fine for powering.

The thing is just that 8.4V is very close to the frying point of the psone screen. You better be sure it stays stable.

It the standard charger for 7.2v Li-ion batteries from batteryspace, so I hope it'd stay stable!
