Portable Dreamcast PSU

Hi,

I am about to start making a portable Dreamcast, and was wondering if these parts would work.

-PicoPSU and power adapter http://www.mini-box.com/picoPSU-120-power-kit (I plan to run the console just off of that power adapter, which is 12v 5a) Just wondering if 5 Amps would be too much for the Dreamcast?

-24 Awg Wire for rewiring the motherboard and other various parts together.

No such thing as too much amps. You don't really need that though.

Something smaller will be much cheaper. That one is $11.00 and free shipping if you have Amazon prime (which you can sign up for a free month).

The Dreamcast and a Screen will need at least a 2.2A power supply at 12v to run properly. You will need a 2.6A at 7.4v to run properly.

Would that be enough to run both the Dreamcast and the PSone Screen(not LED modded), if so, for how long?

You would get around 1 hour 40 minutes run time.

Sorry, one last question...... would I be able to hook two of those batteries up in parallel, to a PicoPSU, or does the PicoPSU require 12v?

Would that one work? Because in the manual it says it can only put out 400 mA on the 12 V rail.
