The mini-series Children of Dune is on tonight. I remember one or two people cursing after missing Dune. So, this is a reminder, don't forget!

Jeez, I only like to see it once or twice a year, that's as much as they show it on SciFi Channel (US).

Its not even a great mini-series. I mean, I'd understand overshowing the original movie a lot (they used to in the US a few years ago, now its on once every few months), but the miniseries is hardly special enough for a once a month showing.

Yeah, like how here in the states they show scifi show marathons every day from 8 am to 4 pm. I mean, yeah its ok, but they only rarely show the good/semi-good ones, like The Hulk, Knight Rider, Lexx, etc.) they used to show Star Trek marathons every 3 or four days.

I've read all twelve books, the first I've read twice. I'd say so. It's a really awesome plot, mixing religion and scifi together.

the miniseries is a mix of Dune Messiah and CoD, the Dune Messiah part is just ending, he's turned blind, if you turn it on now you'll see the CoD part (its going til 1).
