Sunday was a good day for me...I even mounted the screen in a plastic SNES game case. Will popst pictures when possible. The LCDs I bought are better quality than my PSOne Interact screen, and have maybe 8 or 9 potentiometers for precise control. Perfect for playing even complex SNES games. Will try with other systems.

So, another ham I presume? I've been one since I was about 10 years old. (I'm 19 now) Yeah hamfests are great for finding steals on things-most of my projects are based on things I find at those places. I usually find incredible deals on stuff like pricy industrial equipment. One recent deal I found was a $150 Sony cam battery charger for like $30. Everything is so cheap usually because it is surplus.
What Hamfest did you go to? What town? There was one this past Sunday in Raleigh, NC that I went to-didn't find a whole lot though.

Those are some good deals also police auctions are a great place to pick up stuff for cheap and storage rental place auctions are a good place to get things for cheap. I was at a storage rental place a few weeks ago whent they had an auction and they had a storage shed with a gas pocket bike (with extra wheels and tires) a alpine amp and some fairly decent car rims go for $250 I could get that much for the pocket bike alone on ebay.
